Today’s featured artist is Cassandra Hoagland with her submission titled “Breathe Happiness”.
“Infertility is almost universal in men with PCD, secondary to dysmotility of spermatozoa. However, some men with PCD are azoospermic, and a few have normal sperm motility and have fathered children (50). Females have impaired ciliary function in the fallopian tubes, and may have reduced fecundity or a history of ectopic pregnancies related to delayed ovum transit through the fallopian tube (51).” ~ American Thoracic Society
The PCD Artist Project is a collaborative effort by artist to raise awareness for PCD or primary ciliary dyskinesia and support the PCD Smiles program. Each artist who submitted art work to the project either has PCD or has a PCD family member.
