Airway hygiene is an important part of primary ciliary dyskinesia care. Be sure to check out today’s Fun - Physiotherapy with PCD Smiles
Blow painting: Place some spots of paint on a piece of paper and then blow into a straw as close to the paint as possible. This should move the paint across the paper in different directions to make a picture. Bigger straws require more air capacity and move more secretions. Try a variety of sizes as you get used to blowing the paint. Warning: this is a messy activity so have adequate space and protect surfaces and clothing.
